Studying the effect of the drugs with special emphasis on the safety of the humans is called clinical trials. Clinical trials are usually performed for all kind of diseases including Mesothelioma.
Mesothelioma clinical trials are being conducted in three phases-
Phase-1
Small group of patients are enrolled to find out the procedures and drugs to be administered on them.
Phase-2
In this phase, we can get early information about the benefits, safety and success rate of the new procedure or drug.
Phase-3
After treatments or drugs are convincing they will be compared against the current standard using a larger group of candidates.
